In order to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people at the Faculty of Geography and Natural Resources, an event was held on the topic «Fighting AIDS and Prevention of Drug Addiction among Youth.» The event was attended by the doctor of the AIDS Center of the Republic of Karakalpakstan G.Niyazova, the doctor of the Nukus City Department of the Institute of Healthcare and Strategic Development T.Ganieva, faculty tutors and students.
The main goal of this event was to prevent such dangerous diseases as AIDS, to give an understanding of the negative consequences of drug addiction, as well as to explain the importance of observing personal hygiene.
The participants of the event provided detailed information about the causes of the spread of AIDS, its complications, and the measures being taken to combat this disease. Specialists in the field urged young people not to be indifferent to their health, to take measures to protect themselves from various infectious diseases, and to lead a healthy lifestyle. In particular, the negative consequences of drug addiction and its danger to the lives of young people were emphasized, and important recommendations were given on ways to prevent it.
