The Yellow River Estuary Friendly Cities Conference on International Cooperation and Exchange is taking place in Dongying, People’s Republic of China. Representatives of various countries, including the delegation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, are participating in this prestigious international event.
Within the framework of the conference, participants are discussing issues of strengthening mutual cooperation, exchanging experience in the economic, cultural, and scientific spheres, as well as promoting new initiatives for sustainable development. The event is particularly focused on environmental protection, the green economy, the rational use of water resources, and the development of sustainable intercity connections.
As part of the delegation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Berdakh Karakalpak State University, T. Nurimbetov, is also participating. At this conference, he holds a series of meetings on the development of international relations between higher educational institutions, scientific exchange, and the launch of joint projects.
During the conference, it is planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation between Berdakh Karakalpak State University and leading Chinese universities, which will allow for the implementation of bilateral scientific and innovative projects and the establishment of student and faculty exchanges. This international forum demonstrates the active participation of Uzbekistan, especially the Karakalpakstan region, in international cooperation and contributes to the implementation of new strategic initiatives.
