KSU hosted an event on the topic «New Stage of Labor Protection: The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization in the Workplace»

On April 28 of this year, at the Berdakh Karakalpak State University, the Karakalpak Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan held a large-scale round table on the topic «A New Stage of Labor Protection: The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization in the Workplace,» dedicated to «April 28 — World Labor Protection Day.»

The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Karakalpak Council U. Zhalmenov, Deputy Head of the Organizational Department of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Zh. Ikhtiyorov, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Workers of Transport, Road and Capital Construction, Construction Industry of Uzbekistan B. Sultanov, representatives of the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the territorial branch of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, medical and social expertise, the Department for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as employees of enterprises, institutions and organizations.

The purpose of the round table is to systematically implement artificial intelligence and digitalization in the field of labor protection, and artificial intelligence plays an important role in facilitating human labor, increasing efficiency, and creating new opportunities. At the end of the event, the winners of the Karakalpakstan stage of the Republican competition for the organization of collective labor protection and safety were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts by the trade union committee of Berdakh Karakalpak State University and a number of other nominations.
