Spiritual and educational events are continuing at Karakalpak State University within the framework of the «Urgent 90 Days» project. Each of the events held plays an important role in the meaningful organization of students’ free time during summer vacation. One such event was dedicated to reading.
A group of active students from the Faculty of History, led by tutors B.Esemuratova and G.Esboganova, visited the home library of Feruza Abdireymova, a faculty graduate, readers’ leader, and recipient of an honorary place in a republic-wide competition. Feruza, with the support of the Youth Agency of Uzbekistan, established a library in her home.
His home library, rich in fiction of various genres, aroused great love among students. In this center of enlightenment, students got acquainted with interesting books and exchanged ideas about the characters of the books.
Another memorable aspect of this important meeting was that Feruza’s fellow villagers, namely the elders and schoolchildren of the «Yangi ariq» rural community in Xo’jayli district, also actively participated in this event. In their free time, they would spend time in this house library reading books they were interested in. In general, this journey into the world of books was a big step in enriching the spiritual world of students and making another meaningful day of summer vacation.
