Today, October 16, a creative meeting was held at Berdakh Karakalpak State University with beloved creators of Uzbek and Karakalpak literature within the framework of the «Sharing Enlightenment» project. This event was held to increase young people’s interest in literature, develop their artistic thinking, and widely promote the creative heritage of national literature representatives.
The meeting was attended by People’s Poet of Uzbekistan, Honored Cultural Worker of Uzbekistan, holder of the «Shuhrat» medal, member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Genjemuratov, Honored Cultural Worker of Uzbekistan, People’s Poet of Karakalpakstan, holder of the «Shuhrat» medal, member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Rustam Musurman, as well as member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Masihulloh Madaminov.
First, the guests visited the Museum of Memory of Victims of Repression at Berdakh Karakalpak State University and got acquainted with the historical exhibits of the museum. With great interest, they viewed the expositions depicting the complex political processes of the last century, the life and work of people’s patriots.
