At the Faculty of Economics of Berdakh Karakalpak State University, a round table discussion was held on the topic “Goal 1: End Poverty in All Its Forms Everywhere.” The event brought together young associate professors, and doctoral students of the faculty.
During the discussion, the participants emphasized the importance of addressing poverty as a multidimensional issue that includes not only income deprivation but also limited access to education, healthcare, clean water, and social protection. Special attention was given to the challenges of the Aral Sea region, where environmental and economic difficulties often exacerbate social inequality.
The round table format created a platform for open dialogue. Associate professors presented their academic perspectives on poverty reduction strategies, while young doctoral students contributed with innovative ideas and research-based approaches.
