A Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation was signed.

On October 27 of this year, a delegation consisting of the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovation of Berdakh Karakalpak State University I.Turdymambetov, Head of the Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel K.Nizamatdinov and Dean of the Faculty of Biology Ya.Ametov visited the Department of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, where negotiations were held between Karakalpak State University and the Department of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

During the negotiations, it was noted that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 20, 2025 No. PP-310 «On Organizational Measures for Further Improvement of the Activities of Emergency Authorities» and Appendix No. 2 to this Decree, «Model Roadmap of Comprehensive Measures to Prevent and Eliminate Emergencies in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent,» as well as in accordance with Appendix No. 5 to this Decree, «List of Associated Research and Higher Educational Institutions for Scientific and Technical Study of the Risk of Emergency Situations in Mahallas» has been approved.

At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to carry out joint work aimed not only within the framework of this Resolution, but also in the future, aimed at preventing emergencies, their causes and solving the problems arising on a mutually scientific basis, and a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Karakalpak State University and the Department of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
