In order to increase the physical activity of the population, especially young people, to widely promote a healthy lifestyle and attract the younger generation to sports, the «Five Initiatives Olympiad» sports competitions among students were launched at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh.
At the opening ceremony of the event, the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, S. Alawatdinov, spoke about the importance of the «Five Initiatives Olympiad,» the role of sports in strengthening the health of student youth, and the positive impact of such initiatives on the life of society. After that, sports competitions began on the sports grounds.
Sports competitions «Olympiad of Five Initiatives» play an important role in increasing the interest of student youth in sports, directing them to a healthy and active lifestyle, as well as bringing the sports and physical education system of our country to a new level.
