The second Uzbekistan-China Educational Forum was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University in Tashkent on November 2-3 of this year. This prestigious event was attended by heads of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and the People’s Republic of China, officials responsible for international relations, professors, teachers, and students.
The main goal of the forum was to further strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the field of education, exchange experiences between higher education institutions of the two countries, and expand cooperation in the fields of joint educational programs, academic exchange, and research.
T.Nurimbetov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Berdaq Karakalpak State University, participated in this forum. He delivered a presentation at a session dedicated to the deepening of international integration among Uzbekistan’s regional higher education institutions, particularly the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with Chinese universities.
During the event, several important agreements were signed between Uzbek and Chinese higher education institutions. In particular, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Xi’an Shiyou University and Anqing Normal University and Berdaq Karakalpak State University.
